How to Reach us

The best aspect of the Planet Hotel Rome, aside from its value for money prices, is the location. Literally on the doorstep of Termini Station, guests staying here are free to choose transportation by bus, underground metro, or train.

Not only do these routes from Termini stretch all over the city, but all regional and national trains run through the station as well, making it easy for travellers to hop a cheap train to Florence for a day. Use the interactive map of Rome below for a clearer picture of the area.

How to get here

All railways and airports have trains or buses running to Termini Station – from Fiumcino Leonardo da Vinci airport a train to Termini leaves every 30 minutes. The map above demonstrates that Hotel Planet is very close to the station. As you come off the platforms, exit right out of the station and turn right on Via Marsala, taking an immediate left as you reach Via Milazzo. Taxis directly from the airport usually have fixed rates – €40 during the day from Fiumcino and €30 from Ciampino. Be sure to confirm the rate with the taxi driver before leaving. Our address is Via Milazzo 3.

Historic University

The historic University of Rome La Sapienza is nearby, the famed Piazza della Repubblica is within 10 minutes walking distance – and the ancient Baths of Diocletian, the grandest of all Roman baths, and the National Museum of Rome branch off the piazza. A few more minutes of walking will carry guests to Via Nazionale, lined with designer and retail shops. These roads open into the real historic centre of Rome, where the magnificent Colosseum dominates the skyline – perhaps it is only the ruins and splendour of the Roman Forum that can draw the away from the massive Colosseum, as the sprawling lawns and walkways littered with ancient columns and temples invite exploration. All of this is less than 20 minutes away from the Planet Rome Hotel.
