All railways and airports have trains or buses running to Termini Station – from Fiumcino Leonardo da Vinci airport a train to Termini leaves every 30 minutes. The map above demonstrates that Hotel Planet is very close to the station. As you come off the platforms, exit right out of the station and turn right on Via Marsala, taking an immediate left as you reach Via Milazzo. Taxis directly from the airport usually have fixed rates – €40 during the day from Fiumcino and €30 from Ciampino. Be sure to confirm the rate with the taxi driver before leaving. The historic University of Rome La Sapienza is nearby, the famed Piazza della Repubblica is within 10 minutes walking distance – and the ancient Baths of Diocletian, the grandest of all Roman baths, and the National Museum of Rome branch off the piazza.
